I know most of you cringe when you receive a Christmas newsletter. Newsletters, along with fruit cakes, have a bad name. I, on the other hand, love receiving them. I love a good fruit cake, too. So maybe I dance to the beat of a different drummer.
I look forward to getting newsletters, as I have for years from my friend, Heidi, who moved to Baltimore. We car-pooled to New Orleans Opera rehearsals and performances for years and enjoyed many good conversations on a wide range of topics. Her newsletters remind me of her good sense of humor and outlook on life. So, in spite of the poor connotation by some, I look forward to sharing this past year of my life with you in this newsletter.
Since I am so enamored with my computer, this newsletter will be an electronic variety. There must be others of this nature in cybersace, but I´ve never seen one, so I have nothing on which to base this one.
