AUCTION QUILT 2006
It was decided that for our donation to the 2006 auction, we would each
make
two 'house' blocks. We named the quilt, "For Sale, By Owner".

AUCTION QUILT 2004
During the summer of 2003, we decided on our auction project for
2004.
It will be a paper pieced contemporary log cabin variation.
At the 2003
KAQG show, Anita won a ribbon for her rendition of this
quilt. When she
volunteered to plan and organize the quilt, well, shall we say, she
didn't have to offer twice.
We decided to use batiks, but acknowledged that a few other fabrics
would add interest. Typically, we expect that our 'do your
own thing'
members will use some other fabrics to make it more interesting.
Basically, most of us will make two squares each. Anita will put
it
together and 'birth' it. Photos

AUCTION
QUILT 2002
The
quilt, 'Colorful Points of Light' was the first group project of our
bee. Each of us created two or more fractured star blocks of any size
using blue batik fabrics for the backgrounds. We all helped to design
and assemble the quilt and it was donated to the 2002 KAQG Auction. One
of our own, Debbie, out bid some tough contenders to buy the quilt. It
now hangs in her living room and we can visit it any time we wish.
Debbie entered it in the KAQG 2003 show, judged by Libby Lehmann, where
it won Honorable Mention. Photos
