Interesting fabric CHALLENGE

Late in 2004, Noreen brought an interesting fabric to bee.  She bought it at Joann's.  It was agreed that we all wanted some just like it and a challenge was issued that we were to use it in any way in a quilt/wall hanging.  It was to be completed by February 2005.  Lynn offered to pick up the fabric.  Well, Joann's was out of the fabric, so she chose another fabric.  That's fine.  We're OK with it.  We're up to the challenge.  Click here for the results.

BATIK CHALLENGE

In 2001 each of us bought three yards of three different batiks. After cutting these in to fat quarters, we exchanged them with each other. Each person ended up with thirty-six fat quarters. Our challenge to each other was to make a quilt using these fabrics plus or minus three(others). The other stipulation was to use one shape, i.e., squares, triangles, circles, for example. Of course, this shape could be of different sizes. Not all of us finished. Not many of us followed the rules. Who knew?  Here's mine.

COURTHOUSE STEPS CHALLENGE

Again in 2001, we each made dozens of paper pieced courthouse step blocks. We quartered them as instructed and exchanged them. We included one or two other bees in this exchange. Noreen, I know you've made at leaset two wall hangings.  Judy's.
E-mail me your photo(s). Nettie, I know you have one.  Here's one which I gave to my sister-in-law.

BULLS' EYE CHALLENGE

We were very busy in 2001, weren't we. We exchanged quartered bull's eye blocks.   Judie's.

Another challenge. ;-)   Submit digital photos to me and I'll put them on this page.
